When the gorgeous Lisa + Charlie, planned their BIG day, they allowed their different cultural backgrounds to shine through as they said I DO at the beautiful Kelliher Estate. With Charlie of Chinese descent and Lisa of Tongan, their wedding was a dream of celebration and traditions, while still keeping to their vision of vintage beauty for the day. Lisa started the day in a white vintage styled gown, complete with perfectly paired jewellery to walk down the aisle to her Groom, who was overcome with love as the happy tears flowed.

After saying their I do's and becoming husband and wife, Lisa changed into a draw-dropping red dress for the tea ceremony that paid homage to Charlie's heritage, a long-standing tradition in Chinese culture to pay respect to both sides of the families, representing an important moment in which members of both families become relatives of each other, both Lisa and Charlie present tea to both of their parents as well as their new in-laws and other ​prominent family members to say thank you for all the love and support throughout the years, this was a traditional Lisa + Charlie were very honoured to include in their wedding day. After some laughs, games and amazing food, Lisa + Charlie headed for their first dance which was then followed by an amazing cultural dance group that lite up the floor and got everyone moving and grooving.

 

The blending of this incredible wedding and the love Lisa + Charlie share between each other and their loved ones was amazing to be apart and I hope you feel the love as much as I did!
