Rose & Smith Wedding
- Becky + Steve
23.03.2019
Becky + Steve are the types of people you just want to be friends with the love and comfort that they bring as soon as they say hello and embrace you, honestly look how darn cute they are, I legit want them to adopt me haha!
I knew their wedding was going to be one of pure love, unfiltered joy and lots and lots of good food and dancing... They did not disappoint!
The day started with me joining Becky at her best friend's parent's home (it is amazing!) and enjoying some good company as she and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day ahead! Becky felt calm but excited, she knew this was going to be an amazing day, as she finally became a wifey! As we took moments to get lots of images of her and her bridesmaids and mama bear laughing and looking beautiful + some images of Becky flossing and brushing her teeth like a good Dentist would (Both Steve and Becky are in the dental industry, can't you tell, look at them smiles) we then decided to do a first look with dad, the emotions were high and there were soft tears as he looked at his little girl all grown up and ready to become Steve's wife, after a few words of love and encouragement it was time to head to the stunning Rose & Smith venue at Tauherenikau, Climbed into some awesome vintage cars and away we went.
On arrival, Steve was eagerly awaiting his bride to be, so was the rest of their beautiful friends and family, as soon as Becky appeared the pure love for her showed on Steves's face as he watched his bride to be, walk down that aisle there were tears all around, with beautiful vows exchanged, Becky + Steve, said I DO with passion and excitement and sealed it with a kiss. After family photos, we escaped with the bridal party to the vintage couch set up Becky had arranged and took full advantage of acting like we were vouge models, after figuring out how to work the Aliexpress smoke bombs we were away laughing. The bridal party headed back and it was just Becky, Steve and I to create some wedding images they could love forever, the sunset came out to play perfectly and we enjoyed and the warm glow of a perfect day. Once back inside we ate and drank and watch the dancing get better and better as people started to fully come into themselves and forget their worries, ties were a thing of the past haha! As the night closed on the stroke of midnight, a boat race was lined up as a nightcap.
This wedding brought so much laughter and good vibes I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
